"A HELPING HAND"

                Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done......Proverbs 19:17 

           Having received the Blessings from the God, we need to share the love of God by stretching our hands to the poor and the needy. There are many in our midst, who lack the basic needs and are below the poverty line, A helping hand in the time of need to the poor is a great deed in the presence of God and you reflects the love of God.

                 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.......Hebrews 13:16 

       When we consider the poor and help them from the depth of our heart, with such sacrifices, God will be so pleased and will shower his favor on us. Provided, we need to walk according to his commandments and always stay away from evil.

   The Lord said to Moses, that the Israelites need to follow during the time of Harvest to consider the poor according to the below verse,

    ‘When you reap the harvest of your , you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God.

Leviticus 19:10

 

 Due to unprecedented situations, like the current Pandemic, many are left jobless, loss in Business, Unable to meet out their family's needs and all of a sudden they fall into poverty. During these hard times we need to give a helping hand and extend our support.

   ‘If one of your brethren becomes poor, and falls into poverty among you, then you shall help him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you.

Leviticus 25:35 

     Finally consider the poor and spread the love of Christ. Stay Blessed.

    Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

Psalms 41:1 

You can be a helping hand to the poor in many ways,

1. Support the poor by joining hands with your Church.

2.Support them with a pack of monthly essential groceries.

3.Provide them clothing/food on any of your special occasions - Birthdays, Wedding Anniversary, Festive Seasons.

4.Essential Pack - Tooth Brush, Paste, Soap, Health drinks....

5.Poor Childrens - Toys, Note Books, Pencils and other stationeries.

6.Sponsor for the Education, Medical expenses of Orphanages.

7.Organize for a job according to their capability and uplift poor.

8.A pack of Mask, Sanitizers.
