"HEALING"

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.

Jeremiah 17:14

                         We live in an environment surrounded with sickness and new viruses infecting the people. During this situation, we often forget to approach God for healing. One of the names of our God is ‘Jehovah Rapha’ , meaning ‘the God who heals’. God has the power to heal us , provided we have faith and believe in him.

             During his time on earth, Jesus has shown his everlasting love and kindness towards people who came to him with a sickness, He healed everyone who listened and believed and put their faith in him. We need to ask for our healing to God and believe that God can heal us. We must place our faith in him who heals. We must hold on to the promises given by God in the Bible and expect for the Miracles to happen in our life.

We can meditate on the God’s word and put our faith in him.

Psalms 41:3

'The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.'

James 5:15

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Isaiah 53:5

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 58:8

Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
