"HOUSE OF GOD" BY KING SOLOMON

      The House of God, built by King Solomon was the first temple built for God.
      Solomon's Temple was the Crown of Jewel in Jerusalem that stood for 400 Years.
      King David was residing in his palace and the "Ark of Covenant" was placed in the tent , So King David wanted to build a temple for God, but God through the Prophet Nathan said King David, "You are not to build a house for my Name, because you are a warrior and  have shed blood." However, he chose Solomon, Son of David to build the temple.
    After 480 years, Israelities came out from Egypt , In the 4th year of Solomon reigning over Israel , the construction of the house of God Started and in the 11th year it was completed.It took 7 Years to complete the House of God.
     King David gave the Master Plan for the House of God and he prepared most of the things required for the temple, 
And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God— will  be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord .
According to I Chronicles 29:2 Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things  to  be  made  of gold, silver for things  of silver, bronze for things  of bronze, iron for things  of iron, wood for things  of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance, and for all kinds of work to  be  done by the hands of craftsmen. 
   King Solomon sent a message to Hiram, king of Tyre that he wanted to build a temple for the Lord and asked Hiram to send him cedar and Cypress trees. King Hiram cut down the wood and sent them to a place called Joppa. From there they could take the wood to Jerusalem.  The travel distance between Joppa to Jerusalem was around 65 Kilometres.
The Dimensions of the House of God,
I. Width - 20 Cubits (30feet)
II.Length -60 Cubits (90feet)
III.Height -30 Cubits (45 feet - Equivalent to height of Ground +3 Upper Floor Building) 
Note : (1 Cubit =1.5 feet or 18 inches)

"INNER SANCTUARY - THE MOST HOLY PLACE FOR THE ARK OF COVENANT" 
        The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long(30 ft.), twenty cubits wide (30ft.), and twenty cubits high(30ft.) .He overlaid it with pure gold, and overlaid the altar of cedar. So Solomon overlaid the inside of the temple with pure gold. He stretched gold chains across the front of the inner sanctuary, and overlaid it with gold. The whole temple he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the temple; also he overlaid with gold the entire altar that was by the inner sanctuary.

"ARK OF THE COVENANT" By Moses.
“And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height. And you shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and shall make on it a molding of gold all around.
I.Length of the Ark - 2.5 Cubit (3.75 feet)
II.Width of the Ark -1.5 Cubit (2.25 feet)
III.Height of the Ark -1.5 Cubit (2.25 feet)

           "The ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were  
I.The golden pot that had the manna, 
II Aaron’s rod that budded,
III.The tablets of the covenant.

 "DEDICATION OF THE TEMPLE AND THE PRESENCE OF GOD"
         Then Solomon stood before the altar of the  in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven; and he said: “ Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts. Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Lord my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today: that Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said, ‘My name shall be there,’ that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.

            And the Lord said to him: “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built to put My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.
